A Parade Trailer

    — For Homebuilt Horseless Carriages —

An ideal beginners project before you tackle the vehicle to pull it. Can be pulled behind a lawn tractor if you have a parade before you complete your horseless carriage. It uses the same wheels as the Quadricycle. The style will match most carriage designs. It can be painted or finished as you desire to match the pulling vehicle.

There's no machined parts. Welding is basic and easy to do. Costs less than $200 to build, depending on what you have on hand to begin with. Construction is super strong with safety in mind.

The seat is hinged in the front with removable pin hinges. The rear is fastened with pull down catches. It, therefore, offers a secure storage area under the seat. The seat is quickly removed to use the trailer for other than hauling passengers in a parade.

It is designed to place the majority of payload over it's wheels and not on the tongue. Therefore, very little weight is added to the pulling vehicle. According to the specs of the wheels, it will carry a payload of 350 lbs. max. This will accommodate 2 "average" size adults or one adult and 2 children on it's 36 inch wide seat.

The plans cover every detail and everything is dimensioned. A hitch/drawbar is even detailed to fit the Quadricycle.
