Small Car Plans
A Web Site Serving Those Who Are Interested in the Exciting World of Antique Replicas, Home Built Horseless Carriages, Homebuilt Mini and Micro Automobiles.

The photo at the left shows the prototype of our first plans manual. For the first car, we chose to do our version of Henry Ford's Quadricycle.

Coming soon, on a DVD disc which will include all pertinent material on this site.

Since our Quadricycle could only carry one adult passenger, we designed the parade trailer to carry an additional 2 adults, or 1 adult and 2 children. An ideal beginners project. Can be pulled with any riding garden tractor.

all pertinent material on this site.

The photo to the left shows the prototype of our second plans manual. This time we chose to duplicate (well almost) the 1920 Briggs & Stratton "Red Bug" Cycle Car. Can be built without welding or difficult machining.

all pertinent material on this site.

The photo at the right shows the prototype of our third plans manual. This time a version of the 1920 Briggs & Stratton Cycle Car with a Motor Wheel.

all pertinent material on this site.

At the left you see one of the most well known of all homebuilt horseless carriages — Jimmy Woods' single seat that has been duplicated hundreds of times. Many builders have used these plans to fashion their own custom carriage.

Look to your left and you'll see the most famous "home built" carriage of all times, Henry Ford's Quadricycle. Built in 1896, it was measured and duplicated by George DeAngelis, who has made his detailed drawings available for us.

The Electric Voiturette

Those who have followed Ian Hopper's informative articles about the design and building of electric powered replicas, will be glad to know that he now has plans available for this unique copy of a European vehicle. Mostly constructed of wood, it should appeal to you woodworkers.
